Ed joined Verseon because the opportunity to impact the health of billions of people is the most satisfying possible use of the innovative small-data AI technologies he built as cofounder of Edammo Inc. Previously, Ed was founder and CTO of Lyrical Labs, a pioneer in video encoding technology. He also co-founded Keystream Corporation and was VP of R&D at Pulsent. He has held senior technical positions at KLA-Tencor, Synopsys, and Deutsch Research. Elected to the US National Academy of Inventors in 2024, Ed is listed on 40 patents and has co-authored over 20 academic publications. He received his BS from Caltech and his PhD from Stanford in Physics.
